To answer that question you need to understand some basic background on where Femdom hypnosis sits and other similar types of hypnotic control.

Erotic hypnosis

Erotic Hypnosis is a non-therapeutic style of hypnosis that is essentially erotic and arousing in nature to the subject. This is a very basic description and you can find under this broad heading you can define two main styles.

Sexual hypnosis

The first is sexual hypnosis, which is where the subject is placed into a light trance and then brought to orgasm. The focus is on the pleasure of the subject only. The skills required here are some basic relaxation techniques and a seductive voice enticing the subject to climax. A popular technique used with telephone sex operators but has no connection with the dynamic of power exchange as it is basically phone sex and thus requires no extensive training. And just for clarification this is not something I engage in. I have included this for information purposes only.

The second main style under the category of Erotic Hypnosis is D/s Hypnotism which is where the dynamic of power exchange is the key feature. While it may arouse the subject, the primary reason to explore this type of hypnotism is to explore and deepen the power exchange between the dominant and submissive through role-play mind games. The focus in this scenario is on the psychological aspects of BDSM as well as the various methods of hypnotic techniques that can be used eg use of hypnotic suggestions and hypnotic visualisations. Almost like a D/s virtual reality with the benefits of feeling emotions and experiencing acute sensations. The ultimate mind-fuck.

The main advantages with this kind of control are that you can create the most spectacular of environments that would be impossible to achieve in reality. Scenarios such as getting stuck, shrinking, flying or falling are but a few to mention but certainly not exhaustive. It's also a good way of expanding your mental creativity, a place where you can feel safe to try out new feelings and scenarios in the privacy of your own mind.

The psychological aspects of domination and submission are intensely intriguing and fascinating for me so it's only a natural progression for me to explore this style of domination. Physical sensations and feelings can be enhanced through hypnosis and it's possible to feel mental bondage, arousal on command or simply just enhancing a stronger feeling of submissiveness. Utilising the mind and connecting with your subconscious also allows traditionally dominant subjects to experience the feelings of being submissive without actually compromising their characteristics or perceptions of their self. I find these types of session a well-designed, highly stylish and extremely compelling way to delve into the mysteries of power exchange and I've found are only really suitable for the psychologically advanced wishing to expand their personal horizons.

And it is here that I can finally answer your question of what is a Femdom Hypnotist. Femdom is short for female dominant and a hypnotist is someone that uses the skill of hypnotism so a Femdom Hypnotist is a female who uses D/s hypnotism to enhance her control over her submissives (hypnosubs). A Femdom Hypnotist can also be called a Hypno Domme, Hypnoteuse or Hypnotic Mistress. The rules and etiquette of being with a Mistress still apply and it goes without saying hypnosubs are to remain respectful at all times.

For clarity: I am a Femdom Hypnoteuse (Hypno Domme) and use hypnotism in a D/s context only. I am only interested in exploring hypnotism with the dynamic of power exchange with willing compliant submissives.

To understand how D/s hypnosis works, first you need to understand how therapeutic hypnosis works. The portrayal of hypnosis in the media is grossly inaccurate and attributes much to the misunderstanding of what it is and what it isn't. In a nutshell, hypnotism is a deep state of relaxation that heightens your senses and focuses your mind. A similar experience would be when a subject is chanting.

To be hypnotised requires the subject to enter some form of trance. There are three levels of trance and at all levels you can benefit from hypnotism and my control but obviously the deeper you can go the higher the clarity of the sensations and emotions you will feel.

Almost everyone can enter a light trance state; in fact most subjects will comment that they didn't feel like they were in a trance. Examples of clinical diagnosis of light trance states would be if you were driving home from work but instead of thinking how to drive your mind was thinking on some different subject or you were day-dreaming. About seventy-five percent of the population can achieve a medium trance state and is a good trance state to enjoy D/s hypnosis.

Hypnosis allows the conscious part of our brain to connect with the subconscious part without the interruption of our ego. If for example there was a certain behaviour a subject wanted to change, in this state the subject would be able to re-program that behaviour. It is also possible in this state to feel strong emotions, achieve clarity and alertness through suggestion. It is perfectly normal to be aware of what's happening - you will remember exactly what has happened and it is impossible to make anyone do anything against their will.

The human mind cannot distinguish from a vibrant fantasy or a real life experience, therefore under hypnosis the body is able to react the same as if it actually happened, making it possible to have very satisfying - yet entirely virtual - experiences.

D/s hypnosis is about playing with the dynamics of power exchange while the subject is at a level of deep relaxation. That means the subject refers to me as Mistress Diva as defined within the role-play of domination and submission. To help intensify the experience, hypnotic suggestions are added. Examples of this would be 'you are so very weak and completely under my control' and then to include hypnotic visualisations that are submissive eg wearing of a collar, kissing my boots or mental bondage. There may also be specialised roles for the submissive to experience, perhaps a sissy maid, puppy or schoolboy. Elements that familiarise the environment are also placed as hypnotic visualisations eg rubber, orgasm control or teasing.

Finally, let's not forget that the effects of hypnosis on its own are incredibly relaxing and calming for the body as well as the mind.

Can you make me do anything against my will? No, it is impossible for hypnosis to make you do anything that is against your basic belief structure, even in a deep trance state. Therefore it is also impossible to make you submissive against your will.
Will I remember everything? In a light, medium and deep trance state you will remember and be aware of what happened. In a deep state some subjects may experience some form of amnesia.
I didn't feel like I was in a trance, did it work? At the beginning of your sessions you will enter light trance states, similar to daydreaming, but your mind will be processing the information. Being able to achieve a medium or deep level of trance takes time and practice and it is there that you can really feel the intensity of your virtual experiences.
What will happen to me? Firstly I will relax your mind and then I will deepen your state of relaxation. It is at this point you are in a hypnotic state and open to suggestion. I will then take you on a journey exploring a D/s fantasy, with hypnotic suggestions, visualisations and the level of eroticism at my discretion... At the end of the session I will bring you out of your trance fresh and awake to leave.
What do you get out of it? It's fair to say I don't get a sexual rush from hypnotising subjects but I do get my kick from exploring the depths of power exchange as a Femdom Hypnoteuse. I enjoy finding the buttons of submissives and pressing them for my enjoyment.

Before Session

It always helps to be relaxed and I know that the harder you try to relax the harder it becomes so just go with the flow, allow your mind to be molded with my voice, just as if you were receiving a massage you would allow the masseuse to knead your body.

In Person

Presently I prefer to conduct my D/s hypnotic sessions in person and I hold my sessions in a domestic environment. I find that in person I can take the subject to new depths and I can use all my observational skills to help guide the patient throughout the session. Allow yourself the feeling of deep surrender and a temporary relax of your inhibitions to experience your fantasy in a safe and comfortable environment.

If you are new to this kind of session you will have to condition your mind to allow yourself to go deeper into a trance. Entering a trance is a skill and as such needs to be developed. This means you may not enter a medium state trance on your first session with me however you will enter a light state trance which will allow you to feel the experience. The deeper you can take yourself the more vivid and sensational the session will become.

The nature of this session means that if you don't want it to work, then it won't. But then if you do, the more you engage the easier it becomes! If you are unable to forget your reality to want to believe in the fantasy it also won't work. Similarly, if you are not a willing participant then I can't make you enter a trance. Period.

This is really a very enjoyable experience; you just relax and listen to my instructions. Allow yourself to feel the freedom of your submission and fly in that place all submissives aspire to be ... sub-space.
